EARTHQUAKE!!!! ... again!!! Also, New Synth!
So.... another year, another earthquake. And what's weird is this; last year when we had one (June 23rd I think) we had a tornado up north the same day. This year, we had a tornado up north on sunday, then the earthquake today, 2 days later. Weird!
Anyway... I didn't really feel this one. I just felt dizzy and I just didn't know why. No damage anywhere though luckily.
So... when we last left live journal I had just gotten my dream synth. Well it's all fixed up now and working perfectly! Woo! And, uhhh... I got another one. Over a month ago now. The Roland Gaia SH-01 that I wanted. IT is also awesome and I have already used it a lot in a song called Flight of Fancy.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnd..... today I got another one. Another one I had wanted was available. They guy had it listed in Kijiji and I had ignored it for 2 months. I figured it was sold anyway. But today I happened to look again and noticed the ad had been updated 2 days ago and the price lowered $100. So I emailed him. He agreed to deliver (I do NOT drive downtown!) and HERE IT IS!
I've been unbelievably lucky getting all the synths I wanted over the last year. VERY lucky. Hopefully I will be done these songs very soon and will release them and see what happens next.
I'm really happy with my studio now. There are some bad low frequencies still but over all it sounds ok, and I have exactly the equipment I've always wanted. I sure hope someone likes my music!
