Hawks

I went running this afternoon and got to see a Red-tailed Hawk up close on the ground as I started my home stretch. The majestic bird just hopped into a tree 10' away from me and stared at me, much like I was doing towards him.

Was a neat change from my usual runs where the only wildlife I encounter are the idiots who honk their horns and heckle me as I go by...
