Friday was Green Day. It was a great show. My Chemical Romance also put on a good show, even if the crowd on the floor didn't get into them. I totally dug it, and screamed whatever words I knew in support. Green Day are very energetic live, except that they're so "crowd participation" that they play a song every five minutes. Which is annoying. And they didn't play "Homecoming", although they did do "Jesus of Suburbia". Great show. Rich Crist highly enjoyed it.
Today I finished another great movie, "Do The Right Thing", by Spike Lee. It was made in 1989 and is another Spike Lee story of racial themes and differences. It is a story of a closely knit African American neighborhood in New York City and how they interact with each other. But when the cycle of violence is started when a kid dies, the neighborhood completely riots. Hard to describe, but yet another great movie. Has anyone else seen it?
