we just got back from caberfae about an hour and a half ago. it was pretty sweet. we all came back in one piece, except for me. i broke my ankle. im restricted to a cast and some crutches for a while. whatever. caberfae was beautiful. incredibly fast runs, long too. lots of powder...haha...powder, damn you.
so what happened was, we set off down north peak and i see this powder area with a big hip before it, so i hit it and pull off a nice 540 invert, as i come down for the landing i hit the podwer, my board sticks in the foot and a half deep snow and my body flies forward, my ankle snaps inside my boot. im screwed. its only about 6:30pm, and we have until 10pm to ride. so i ruin it for everyone. ski patrol hooks me up as much as they can and then we cruise over to cadillac general. i get the x-ray and find out im broken. great. they wrap me up and kick me out. vicoden was administered as well. bonus. so here i am, cant drive a car, cant do anything. good thing is, i get to go to meijer and walmart and ride those little electric carts around. flippin sweet.
