Post-Apocalyptic - here I come!
Was looking through the 2008 Survivors forum on IMDB today and some people were talking about a show called The Changes (about people who for some reason turn their back on modern technology and the sinister reason behind it) and also a scary-for-its-time BBC drama called Threads (about Britain after a nuclear attack... or something like that).
Now being the morbid freak I am, I'm gonna have to go onto youtube and check them out.
The thing about The Changes is that the premise sounds sort of ideal - people turning their backs on technology. Ok, I wouldn't like to be without the internet, electricity, etc, but sometimes we rely FAR TOO MUCH on technology. If we could find a nice comprimise it would be great.
Also, I am a bit gutted at the stuff I put onto a dvd-r disc is not playing on my PS2 (I don't own an actual dvd player anymore). A bit disappointed as it took me ages to put all the stuff onto the disc and now I can only view it on my computer which defeats the purpose in the first place.
Ho-hum, looks like I'll be looking to by a cheap dvd player very soon..
