Poetry Corner Again
Okay, so a lot of people really liked this poem, and have been asking about it for their own safe keepin, so I figured that since it was one of my better ones, I would post it for everyone to see. But first, you all know where the poem probably was originated from, or what (who) inspired it, and I will tell you that is was started because he began singing that stupid song "What is Love". So thanks loser, even though it did help me get a 100 on my senior portfolio! YAY for 100's!
What Is Love?
I feel sadness when I must leave
Regret when I've said something I didn't mean
Pain when I cannot be with you
Joy when I am
And happiness knowing I could spend
the rest of my life in your arms.
Is that love?
An emotion of all?
That sense of completeness.
That knowing when to fall.
What of anger, lust, and hate?
They are emotions too
What of sin and spite?
Sometimes I feel that with you.
Is that love?
Is it the way I feel?
That cold shiver
replaced by warmth
The feeling that forever
is not long enough?
When I look into your eyes
I cannot speak,
cannot think
only feel
That... is love.
