Like a Moth to a Flame

Somebody stop me. I can't stop watching this half-hour commercial for "the best music of the 70s and 80s". Why? Because it's fucking hilarious seeing these ugly guys with bad hair sing sappy ballads. The compilation ranges from Cher to Poison. I'm not kidding. And it has customer testimonials with the people's names on screen, because you don't know whether to you like music unless someone you don't know tells you how good it is. Although one woman had the last name McCormick, and she does resemble Maureen McCormick.

Here are some of the highlights of the commercial:
--Hearing REO Speedwagon sing that they "can't fight this feeling anymuu-o-aaar"
--Watching Pat Benatar's upper lip not move
--Watching Chrissie Hynde's lips move because that's how she creates vibrato
--Seeing a hair band whose drummer is a fat balding guy with a mustache and glasses wearing a loud shirt
--Finding out that Night Ranger has a singer that looks just like Will Ferrell
--Being reminded for the first time in 20 years of bands such as Europe, Mr. Big, and Mr. Mister
--Not remembering the names of other bands 20 seconds after seeing their names on screen, especially the ones named after some guy

And more ... get 50 highlights in all for the low price of--

Sorry.
