This was almost certainly the best story they have done so far.
No spoilers here, but I can say that many people long suspected there was more to Mr, Bennett than a cold bespectacled operative, and last night answered that question definitively. The guy is just about the most interesting character on the show right now.
It looks like "the stall" (i.e., that phenomenon where serialized dramas avoid moving the plot along, in order to stretch things out for a whole season) is over. Praise the gods.
