Well, after a couple of days of frantically calling around and hearing "Sorry, we're booked" and "Sorry, we don't do 21sts" and "Sorry, no parties" and "Sorry, no alcohol" I've finally found a place!
Okay, it looks like a country pub, but that seems sorta fitting, as I grew up in the country, and there will be a little mingling with the regulars, but there aren't that many, and there is no booking charge or room hire, and the alcohol is CHEAP! And we can basically do what we want, including using the kitchen ourselves.
Now, all I need to do is budget, decorations, cake, food, inform people of the change...
Oh, and get my $100 back... ;)
