Rolling Stone has devoted the 12.24 issue to a look back at the decade. The music section is divided by years and the first page is, of course, about 2000. I felt my heart literally jump when I saw the picture: the black and white wardrobe from the NSA tour. They pay homage to a sales record that might never be broken, but still couldn't leave without a snide remark about their music. The online version uses a different picture, but least they were included, recognized. It was and still is an incredible achievement.

In a perfect world, JC would see the article, get off his fine butt, and go back in the studio. TBPH, I think his "writing for others" mantra has worn thin. Ryan Tedder writes for everyone in the known world and still manages to record himself. And people like Tim McGraw have branched into acting but still sing. He needs to get over himself. I'm tired of seeing him at parties celebrating other artists.

Welcome to the master plan:

• He culls through all the crap he has sitting on his desktop and chooses five songs.
• He rerecords those, updating the sound. More voice. Less production value.
• He calls JoJo @ KIIS-fm and schedules a visit during which he pimps his facebook/myspace update/release of new music
• He actually puts up the songs
• He tweets about the return of ABDC and mentions his new music
• He walks the red carpet @ The Grammy's and talks about new music
• He goes to the big after-parties and starts acting like a musician again
• Mario Lopez asks JC about his new music on the premiere of ABDC
• He does a surprise set at The Roxy and tweets about how good it felt to be on stage again
• Mario mentions one of the songs by name on ABDC. Lil Mama adds her two cents. JC flashes an appropriate gang sign.
• JoJo talks up JC, saying he will be back to debut a brand new track
• digital_diva marshalls the forces and everyone calls in requesting it
• MTV does a "Return of the Singer" series and JC is profiled/interviewed. A clip of his new track is linked.
• The tightwadthatisTheChasez forks out some dough and makes a music video to promote that song
• JC goes to Coachella to hobnob with his fellow wizards and tweets about it
• Seacrest picks up the tweet and does a call-in with JC
• JoJo hints that JC will perform at Wango Tango and secretly adds his song to the Top 9 @ 9 page
• JC debuts the song on the finale of ABDC
• vh1 puts the video on their Top 20 Countdown
• digital_diva marshalls the forces again and everyone votes for it
• MTV puts the video into rotation, does another interview
• He performs on DWTS with the new single and something from Schizo
• He performs at Wango Tango
• He walks the Red Carpet @MTV Movie Awards and announces that he's been signed by RCA with an album to follow

Thanks for the snowflakes FL! They made my day. School is still a soul-sucking nightmare. Four and a half more days.

The rain has finally let up so I'm going to put up some decorations today. I actually started my Christmas shopping so I feel a lot better. I still need to hit Best Buy which will be a complete tool fest, but at least I know what I'm looking for this year.
