I awoke this morning to the MYTHBUSTERS dropping a JC doll repeatedly from outrageous heights. Or it could have been the Joey one. Either way, it confirms both *NSYNC's continuing notoriety and the eternal, irrational hatred men still harbor for the SDBs. There must be something in the air. This week at the Board of Doom there was a complete and utter meltdown after JC was asked about the possibility of a reunion. I saw some screen names come out of the woodwork that haven't been around for years. I blame Lance and his lap dance in Vegas. ;-)
Speaking of flame wars, the AI fandom better suit up. If they think things are ohsounfairhe'sthebest now, wait until November. It won't be pretty.
This is the end of the ALA's Banned Books Week. Do me a favor. Pick one and read it. If The Lorax is now a repeat offender, censorship is alive and well in America.
FlashForward made a quantum leap this week by focusing on character development and not just dropping new breadcrumbs. I have to come clean though. I actually watched The Vampire Diaries and recorded FF. And if anyone's counting, at this point I'm utterly and completely on the dark side. Damon is so good at being bad. I'm also completely addicted to Project Runway now and a total fangurl of Logan. What a cutie.
I would not want to be a weatherman today. None of the models they've used over the years work anymore. It's an absolutely gorgeous, clear day today. The forecast called for rain.
A nostalgic but heartfelt Happy Birthday to my partner in crime, the lovely Miss foxmonkey. Miss you and hope that life is treating you well.
I need to finish Shadow of the Wind for book club on Monday night so I'm off to make that happen. After a quick trip to Panera.
