• I have been introduced to a slab leak through sudden heat in the floor of the guest bathroom. Almost $3,000 to fix and I am told I am lucky. It could have been much worse. ::cries::

• I went to the salon today just to get highlights and ended up with a new haircut--kind of a long shag. I so hope I am happy with this in the morning. ::still weeping::
