She was one of a kind. Never married but she mothered every kid in our family, from my dad (her younger brother) to the great great great nieces and nephews. She's a legend.

Yea. Kind of like Aunt Jo was. :)

I'm certain Aunt Jo got me to clean out those cupboards on the 24th so I'd take note of the date on the newspaper. She probably loved the look on my face when I realized it was 10 years to the day. I can almost hear her laughing...

I think I had a similar look on my face. I read the entry and missed the significance of the date the first time, and thought, Awww, that is sweet and then ... WHOA.
