when it rains, it pours... and it shows.
In the midst of a torrent, I decided to brave the flood to grab a cup of my addiction (caffeine). As I was driving home, I saw a girl and a boy leaving a restaurant, and the girl's left sandal got swept away in the river that has manisfested itself on Broadway. Instead of chasing after the sandal, the girl simply walked to her car, sans one shoe, in the pouring rain. The boy stood on the other side of the street, dumbfounded and drenched.
