I don't know what made me post this but the ecconomy has been on my mind a lot latly and when ever I talk about it people think I'm just some dumb kid and dismiss me or they are my peers and think I'm a nerd for talking about ecconomics....I guess I just feel a need to comunicate these thoughts even if its just to myself
Ok so I feel I should start out by saying I realy don't know a whole lot about ecconomics and the stock market....that I just kinda go on instinct and moderate reserch but mostly just instinct....
I saw my stocks makeing a decline and I closed out most of my high risk portfolios right before the market tanked and I'm realy lucky and thankful I didn't loose as much as most people did....I don't know what realy drove me to do that cause honstly every financhial advisor out there advised against that..... I I,.nvested most of what I pulled out in realastate, I figure the market for houseing was flooded with sales and nor a lot of people where buying makeing it an ideal buyers market plus all the gov insentives. I figure houses like stock can gain value but unlike stock u get utility out of a house, the enjoyment of a home, the security of shelter and avoiding renting as rent will keep going up and I won't be subjected to that.... stock is just paper but u can't live in a stock portfolio but u can live in a house.
I thought it seems the stock markt has becom less volitle and we finnaly hit bottom and it might be smart to buy back in while its low....perhaps gold, it seems to be the it stock now.... but I don't realy beleiv e in gold at this momwnt, I think its so over invested now that that's going to tank and in the near future bwe will see people loosing a lot on gold....
Also I don't believe we realy hit bottom economicaly....I think we plained out for a brreif moment and its a false sence of security before a second drop, not major but substantial non the less, almost like aftershock in an earthquake....I think we are about to face inflation and our dollar will plumit as it is already lost its prestige in the global market and some countrys won't even deal in us dollars anymore
Right now I think foreign investment if any is where to go, not europe tho, s america and asia namly korea....that and just band things that are actual needed goods not in tecnologies. when we realy hit the real bottom is when to buy formerly well performing staple mainstay stocks like ge while they are record cheap. I'm also interested in a drip envestment system in things like ge, I figure invest in small installments so u arnt at the risk dumping in a big lump sum is....but anyway mutual funds is nice and easy but this time I want to have more control over my investments.
