What can be said about the disaster in Asia that hasn’t already been said! Australians have mobilised to assist in any way they can, and the music industry is no different. A series of  fundraising gigs featuring musical performances from Australian and Indonesian artists, DJs and other entertainers will be held across venues in Sydney with net proceeds going to Oxfam Community Aid Abroad’s Earthquake Tsunami Emergency Appeal.

The first in the series, this weekend on Sunday 16th January, at One World in Darling Harbour (just south of the Imax Theatre) an all day event with a huge line-up of Aussie icons and Indonesian cultural activities, Choirboys, Dirty Skanks, Diana Anaid & Band, UBROS feat MC Jonah, Steve Balbi, Kurtis, Small Mercies, Sick Puppies, inakin, Mandy Kane, Sascha Klave, Sam Joole, Tembang and Friends, hosted by MC Tug Dumbly and many more special guest throughout the day.

The event starts at 11.30 am and runs through til midnight with a cover charge of $25. Please note this is not an all ages event, under 18s may be in the venue until 9pm and accompanied by a guardian.

Thursday 27th January at @Newtown an evening event with a full line-up of contemporary Australian acts and Indonesian acts.

Details on additional, future events are currently being finalised with many additional artists keen to be involved, so there will be something there for everyone. Be there and support.
