Just because you were born in '97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid.
It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons. I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it.

You remember watching Doug, Ren & Stimpy, Pinky and the Brain. I hated Doug, freaked people out with the fact that I watched ren and stimpy and I loved Pinky and the Brain... NARF!

You remember TGIF, Step by Step, Family Matters, Dinosaurs, and Boy Meets World. I hated most of those show... though I watched Dinosaurs when I happened to catch it on TV.
You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons. Oh fuck yeah. That was the shit.
You got super excited when it was Oregon Trail day in computer class at school. It was like one of the only games that I had on my Mac... how could I not remember it... It's all about shooting the buffalo but not being able to carry it all back to the wagon... that and trying to ford the river.

You took plastic cartoon lunch boxes to school.

When everything was settled by rock paper scissors..or bubble gum bubble gum in a dish...and even better daddy had a donkey inky binky bonky. The one I used was "enny meny miny mo catch a tiger by the two, if he hollers let him go, enny meny miny mo."
When cops and robbers was a daily activity. Never really had any kids around to play with.
When we played Hide and go seek until our legs grew numb. When I got the chance to.... what I remember was Heads up 7 Up... now that was an awesome game.
When we used to obey our parents I still do.... that's why I'm in college *sigh*
You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time. I totally did that.
"Where in the World is Carmen San Diego?" was both a game and a TV game show. I LOVED that show.
Captain Planet. He's a Hero. Thinking about that show just brings back a flood of memories.
You knew that Kimberly, the pink ranger, and Tommy, the white ranger, were meant to be together. Heh heh.... maybe :P.
You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular. ... and the sega saturn (never got one... still want one) and the sega Dreamcast.... and my beloved Nintendo 64 with Zelda OoT.
You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny.
You remember watching Home Alone 1, 2 , and 3 . . . and tried to pull the pranks on "intruders"
You remember watching The Magic School Bus, Wishbone, and Reading Rainbow on PBS. I loved LOVED! the Magic school buss.
You remember when Yo-Yos were cool. I have been catching myself wanting to buy a yoyo again. There were also those three stick things where you would hold two of the sticks and fling the third one( which two ends had these leather strips for decoration rapped around them) around and another was the Diablo things with the two sticks tied together with string and you would use that to toss a wiring top of doom around.

When they made the new lunchables so that you could make pizza AND tacos. I was always mad that my mom made me get hot lunch and never gave me lunchibles. Bitch :P

Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them. Still make them.
You played and/or collected "Pogs" My brother loved pogs... for like a week.
You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere. Once again I was pissed that my mom and dad never got me one of those.... not a real one, I think I still have the pikachu one somewhere.
. . . Furbies. Though my parents didn't get me a lot of things they did, however, get me a furby.... and my dad traumatized it so much that when my dad walked in the room it would cry... I thought that was wonderfully funny.
You haven't always had a computer, and it was cool to have the internet. Totally. I remember having to go over to my uncles to play gun shy.... though I don't think any of you would know that game.
And Windows 95 was the best.
