Well, it's been an interesting weekend in Dublin. Saturday I woke up late after just relaxing late into the morning and talking to some folks from the States. Eventually, Nick, TJ, and I found our way out and about by ourselves and we were looking for the Guinness Storehouse. Well, after a long walk, and seeing a bunch of hairy-backed men swim down the River Liffy...
we hopped the river, which was wrong. Aparently, we were very close right before we crossed. We found our way to the Jameson Whisky Distillery, but I dislike whiskey, as did Nick and TJ, so we moved on and found our way, eventually, to the brewery. However, it was closed. So we just took a picture outside. Good enough. Now we know where it is. And knowing is half the battle.
Today we watched the All Ireland Final in hurling and my boys in Galway lost to County Cork. I owe my buddy Dan a Guinness now, unfortunately, but it was all good. I've met some great people. This is gonna be a good semester.
