There's some pictures of Hubbard Glacier. We were nearing the end of the cruise, and one day was dedicated to this attraction. A huge glacier - taller than the ship and many miles wide. As we approached we saw another cruise ship appear from around the bend. Our captain followed and was able to get about 3/4ths of a mile away from the glacier. We couldn't get too close beacuse the falling pieces of ice could potentially cause serious damage to the ship. As we approached, there were many icebergs in the water, floating by. It was amazing.

These pictures are from a roll of film I developed. I had them make a CD when they devoloped the roll. The scans - or however they make the CD - don't look that great, to me...but they're good enough. I ran them thru photoshop and made this page real quick, so there's some stuff to click on that won't work. I dunno how to get the image description and stuff on there. I'll look into it and probably make a page with more pictures from Alaska shortly. I've been working everyday since Monday and I have to work this weekend as well, so maybe next week, but probably not because it takes a while to make. AND, I have to figure out how to recover my pictures that I almost lost off my digital camera (long story...). But anyway, I was standing at the very front of the ship for most of this, and there were people in front of me that always seemed to move at the exact time I took the picture, so there's some dark spots on the sides of some of the shots. These are the low res pictures, too, so I'll put up some nice big ones later on. Especially when I get the digital pictures.

So, enjoy.
