(no subject)
WOW! I haven't updated this in forever! SO much has happened since then! In summary, here's what has happened since then:
-I didn't get into the J-School when I first applied, but I petitioned and I FINALLY GOT IN!!!
---> I enrolled for next semester: I'm gonna be taking Journalism 301,
English 387 (English language), English 320 (American Lit. I) and
Biology 100.
----> I roughly figured out what I'm gonna be taking the rest of my time
here in college (after this semester, only have to take 12 credits since
I'm going the extra year anyways)
----> AND I officially declared to be an ENGLISH MAJOR as well.
-I went to Clarkesville, GA for Spring Break. I went with our KU Habitat for Humanity group. It was so much fun! We built a house for a week, and we even got to go white water rafting one of the days! I posted pictures on facebook from it! You should all take a look! It was so much fun and made some amazing friends! :)
---> We also had our Acts! Speak! Build! Week recently with our finale at
this bar here in town, so we've been super busy promoting for that!
***THE JAYHAWKS WON THE MEN'S NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!! YAY!!!! IT HAS BEEN SO CRAZY AND INSANE HERE THE LAST WEEK!!! I'VE NEVER SEEN LAWRENCE SO EXCITING AND CRAZY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! WOW, IS ALL I CAN SAY!***
Wow, it's been busy! Right now, I'm gettin' ready for this last month of school and finals and stuff! Finals are gonna suck, but I can't believe we only have like a month of school left! THEN I'll be coming back to MN for the summer! Can't wait!
