An Update!
Wow I just realized I haven't updated in THE longest time, so I decided I should probably do that! I dunno, not a whole lot has happened, just trying to get into the flow of things.
I guess the main things include:
1.) Labor Day weekend Brittney and I took a roadtrip (her bf and friend came down to pick us up and her mom and brother drove us back, because her mom was up there and she's moving down here) up to WI and then when we got to Waekusha, Dan picked me up from there and I spent the weekend with him. It was probably THE most fun weekend I've had since I been here...we didn't get much sleep and I even went the night that I had to be at Brittney's at like 4:30 in the morning with no sleep because Dan is like 3 hours from her house so I just stayed up...that was an awesome weekend!
2.) The next weekend, Dan came down here and we just kind-of hung out and I showed him the campus and stuff (he applied here so there's a 50% chance he'll be coming here!)and we were gonna go to the football game that week which was vs. Appalachian State, but he wasn't feeling up to it, so that's okay! You know what we did discover that weekend though? There's an A&W here in Lawrence that totally got me excited, so we went there!
3.) This isn't as exciting, but it was family weekend last weekend, and my mom and sister came down to visit. It was kind-of cool to see my sister though, 'cause she was at Spanish Camp when I had to leave for down here so I hadn't seen her in like 2 monthes, so that was cool, and we went to my first college football game vs. Lousiana Tech. We won so we're 3-0 now, which hasn't happened for a long time...they had an article in the Kansan about it, and it was really fun because I lik college football so much more than hs or at least at KU everyone is soooo spirity and cheering and stuff....we have a lot of school spirit...I love it! I was just disappointed to find out that the game vs. K-State (who is our big rival school) is in Manhatten, so I probably won't go...maybe I can catch it on tv or something. And then our next home game isn't until like more than a month...October 29th (2 DAYS AFTER MY BIRTHDAY!! YAY!) and we're playing Missouri and that's Homecoming so it's something to look foward to!
Anyways, other than that, not much has been going on. I should probably go do that hw so I'll write later!
