One Secret: I had a crush on you for quite a while.

One Compliment: The way your voice smiles. I know that sounds dumb, but I used to listen to you on the phone as you stood looking outside, the sunbeam shining on your face, and I honestly could hear your smile without seeing it. When you're happy, it's infectious.

One non-compliment: well, if that means something negative, I can't bite without jumping on the "bad choice in guys" bandwagon. That aside, I'm stumped here.

One love note/nice thought: As if the smile in your voice wasn't enough, your actual smile is a very nice thought. Despite meeting you once (well, twice; once each way in travel) I got hooked on your smile. I too was drawn towards you, as many others are naturally.

How old you are: Old enough to know better; still too young to care. God, everyone on here is 17, 19, etc.. horrible. I've got a decade on basically everyone. Mid-July will make three decades I've been on this floating blue ball. (frowns) Meh; C'est la vie, n'est-ce pas?

i wish i could see you again. i hope things are going well with the brit girl too. i had a crush on u as well, but it scared me since ur so mature and im still fumbling through life. the distance was a pain as well. im still drawn to u, i still think of u. dont forget me plz

'Can' see Me again? Sweetie, you *will* see Me again.. things with "My current" are basically as I said in the email.. I understand what you say about maturity, but despite relationship things, I think you give yourself far too little credit. (and me a little too *much* credit!) We are our own worst critic; it's a little chip in our brains left over from evolution. If we thought *too* highly of ourselves, we'd be too in love with the mirror to love anyone else and the species would become extinct. The trick is to minimize that screaming voice in your head and tell yourself to occasionally listen to the outside majority. If enough people say the same thing, it's probably true. Kat, you have such a beautiful brain and I'm so glad you won't compromise it for anyone else. The fact that you're beautiful on the outside as well.. well, thats just icing on the cake. (mmm.. cake....) I could never, and *will* never forget you. I still pop on here from time to time to see what the nicest smile in Greece is up to.
