Holy fuck. Chief Justice William Reinquist just died. W is going to have two appointments to the supreme court. I'm not sure how to take this. I'm glad that the republicans will have the influence in the court now [I know Reinquist was a conservative but didn't he uphold Roe v. Wade?] but I haven't been a big fan of the SC governing policy. I always thought that abortion should have been decided by Congress so the restrictions they put on it now will be interesting to see. I wonder who the appointee will be. Will it be the Attorney General?
On the other hand Go Huskers. I'm glad they won but I was really sweating that game. They need to do 100 times better if they're going to have a good season. KU won too so that's good.
I'm glad to be back home. This was one of the better birthday's I've ever had; better than when I got the Batman game in kindergarten. Thursday was fun celebrating in the dorm. We had pizza and a surprise birthday cake. Yesterday, dinner with friends and family was great.
