Damnit damnit DAMNIT. I want to write this essay article THING the way I want to write it. I wrote roughly four hundred words and could have kept going. I cut it down to three fifty and need to take out another hundred.
I goddamn hate two fifty word limits. That is the stupidest thing ever. I have so much more to say. This is something I actually want to write.
I am writing about learning a language. This is my thought: learning a language isn't simply learning the rules, it's learning the rules then learning to break them.
This is my subject and I could talk about it for ages. I've got narrative voice going, I've got style happening, and I haven't had to look up a single word, a single synonym. I am rocking the French and the writing and I am inspired and instead I have to CUT OUT ONE HUNDRED WORDS.
Augh.
Maybe I should switch topics and just write this one for me.
