I have neglected LiveJournal...
As I am obsessed with NeoPets. It's sad, I know, I know. Hey, if you join my guild though there's a link to all the daily freebies and petpet shops and a couple other things too. I go there first thing so now instead of bumbling through Neopia waiting for my computer to load each individual picture all I have to do is hit 'back' a couple times... It's great. Oh, I added the seasonal Advent Calendar too!
Question: Why did no one tell me of the Xweetoks??? I'm always the last to know about cool new stuff! I wanted me a Hissi... cursed limited editions... Well, I got me a total of THREE pets now, a Xweetok and two Eyries (which I'm in search of paint brushes and morphing potions for *hint hint*)... OH- And recently (in addition to Phritt's Halloween Doglefox) I gave Greenwevean a Tyrannian Angelpuss! They're SO cute! (I was after a Mutant Zomutt, but they were unfindable. :( I was so proud of myself, I actually had enough NP to buy the puss and it's paint brush!
Anywho, to more important things outside of Neopia...
I misread the thing and we have until Dec. 27th, but we may get to keep it irregardless because we managed to fix out $415.00 overdraft- the woman I spoke with actually refunded us more than half of it! We got LUCKY! I think the main reasons were: 1. The transaction that started it all was incorrectly recorded because of a transaction with our debit card to which something was refunded, but in cash instead of being acredited to our account. And 2. When we found out we were overdrawn we walked all of fifty feet across the street to our bank where we could come up with a solution to the ever growing fees. We were told that they (OUR bank) could not help us, but there was only ONE woman that could in Columbia. We called her from the bank and guess what---our fantastic luck being what it is she was on vacation and wouldn't be back until Monday! It was like Wednesday that we found this out! So now we're most definately broke... hubby's hours have been cut because of the time of year... our car is officially a lawn ornament (only it's in someone else's lawn which we will have to walk there and PUSH it back because we can't afford to tow it) and I have a migrane. Other than that our family is doing well. Now I have to go and see if I can find a recipe for Lemon Meringue Pie for my brother.
