Hi, guys! It's Ri. I am not a mod, nor will I ever pretend to be. That's one job I don't want now or in the FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR future or ever. I'm just someone in the game who wants to play, just like everybody else here.
I know people are divided on the whole move thing, and to be honest, I am too. In fact, as others on Plurk can attest, I was adamant about NOT moving. I'm still not thrilled with the idea because LOL! 15 icons when I have a journal here with paid time and 250 icons through January of 2013 with no hope of refund or transfer of time? Yeeeah... not exactly cool with that.
However, I know some people here don't have plurks, so I thought I'd convey a little of what I've seen going on there, because whether we like it or not, this does affect us as a game and as a community.
Some people (myself included) were holding out hope for a rollback of 88. Well, this isn't happening.
There were users who had the auto-pay feature turned on without their knowledge (I was one of them)! But apparently they're all liars. From the mouth of a Support Team member.
Again, on the subject of auto pay: First it's a glitch, but then it's your browser storing info. At least this individual was polite about it!
Livejournal's revenue from people with multiple RP accounts? Nothing compared to what they make from Singapore's shopping, so this is why they really aren't worried.
These are the developments and the like from what I've seen floating around on my Plurk. I'm sure others with a larger friend list have probably seen more and could add to this.
I'm not saying we should all put on our big girl panties and deal. I'm not saying we should all pack up the lifeboats and abandon ship. I'm just saying "this is what's going on" so that everyone can be in the know without having to jump through hoops. If things change, or are added, or whathaveyou... or if anyone has anything else they know of, they can add it here so that things don't get cluttered. I'm basically just doing this to give people a spot to share and air that isn't the poll post, as well as provide those who don't watch the news comms with a status update.
Also! If any of these have since been proven wrong, please feel free to correct me. I'm certainly not above adjusting things to reflect!
[EDIT] A new post has been made pertaining to the comment system. They're working on trying to get some of the functionality back, such as spell-check, parent links, and a few other things, but there is no timeframe as per the norm.

IN THE MEANTIME, I'm gonna go back to working on tags and wait to see what happens.
