[Juudai's lost in his thoughts until he hears that familiar voice, which causes him to look up. He grins.]

Johan!

I have no appropriate icons at all so just pretend kay?

[For real, you may totally have just been pushed back into that building, Jyuudai. Be happy, somebody's missed you.

. . . and, er. Is burying his face in your hair and CLINGING. Apparently Johan wants to imitate a starfish. If you can pick out any of his mumbles, something to the effect of "I missed you, this place is crazy, nobody duels here" may become apparent. At least partly apparent.]

[He's a little shocked at first, so he stands there for a moment. Juudai then puts his arms around Johan and pats him on the back, not really knowing what to do.]

[THE GLOMP WILL CONTINUE. At least for a little while. Eventually he's going to have to stop squeezing so tight or neither of you will be able to breathe.

Finally he pulls back, although he leaves his hands on Jyuudai's shoulders. From the look on his face, you'd think someone just told him Christmas came early.] You're really here.

[Juudai waits patiently until Johan pulls back. He smiles at Johan, not really knowing what to say.]

[ . . . and he's just. Going to be content now.]

[ . . . yeah. Being jolted off cloud nine now.] When's the last time you ate?

[As if on cue, a growl is heard from Juudai's stomach.] I can't really remember, but it must've been a while.

Come on. We can get food and I'll . . . try to explain this place, anyway.

Do you want ramen or do you want to risk my cooking? [He's not Emeril, but he's not a horrible cook, either. It may be obvious he's poking fun at himself.]

Sounds good!

[He smiles.] Hehe, I'm sure you're not that bad!

I don't know, the stoves here are pretty different than they are at home. [He pauses, as though he's forgotten something, then bends down to pick up his bike.] We can go back to my place if you want. Probably easier than trying to explain the whole city all at once anyway.

C'mon, Ruby--

. . . Ruby? [He looks a bit perplexed. There may be a purple tail or a bit of ear poking out from somewhere nearby.]

Sounds good to me! It'll be easier to understand things on a full stomach anyway.

I'm not--Ruby. Come out of there. [. . . and apparently she's batting at something in a corner.] You're a real troublemaker when you're solid, I hope you know.

Yeah, I know, I know. Come on, little miss trouble. [He sounds affectionate enough, though.]

[He grins back at Johan.] Hehe, she's pretty curious isn't she?

So how far is your place from here?

Yeah, she--

Rubii? Bii, rubii? [She's holding up a thread spool between her paws.]

Ruby. You don't give somebody a present you dug off an alley floor.

Biii, rubiirubii!

Don't you give me that! [He's totally blushing. And scooping her rapidly off the ground before she can get in any more trouble.]

About half a mile, if we go--Ruby! [She, uh. Might be taking a jump for your shoulder, Jyuudai.]

Half a mile's not too far!

[He laughs when Ruby jumps on his shoulder and he pats her on the head.]

She's been such a troublemaker ever since I found out I could make her solid here. [He begins wheeling his bike.] So, you already figured out the Forge, I guess. There's a map on there, if you need it. You probably will. This place is huge.
