Who: playful-trouble, OPEN When: Today! Where: Streets of Anatole Format: Paragraph, but action is fine too. What: Sohki's out and about looking for entertainment. Warnings: NA
The past few days had turned out pretty great for Yachiru! Sure, she'd been really mad at Ken-chan and Scilly, but they were all made up and forgiven now, so she felt a whole lot better. And after that, Robo-chan had finished her bunny and Ken-chan had gotten her a new scooter!
She hadn't failed to notice the murmurings of fear and worry from the grown ups about all those corpses in the ruins. And it wasn't as if she didn't think it was a problem, she just couldn't do anything about it at the moment, so she didn't let it bother her.
That was why she could race down the streets of Anatole on her pretty new scooter and laugh like there weren't any problems in the world. But when she felt the little metal bunny in her sleeve kicking impatiently, she pulled over and, propping the scooter up against the wall of a building, sat down and took the rabbit out.
"What'sa matter, Bunny?" she said, petting it's metal head. "Did you get bored?"

Sohki's movements began to slow as he sensed the rather energetic energies of someone approaching. It had been quite some time since he'd last felt something quite like this, and the kirin couldn't help but take a moment to pause and stretch out his ability to locate the one in question.
He seemed to sense a child-like quality surrounding them, and whoever it was, was approaching rather rapidly. Sohki didn't have to wait for too long, and while his eyes remained closed, he could clearly see the pink haired bundle of energy zooming directly in his direction.
There was no attempt to step out of the whirlwind child's way, and it seemed as though his hunch was correct as the child pulled over. "My my, that's not terribly good if your friend, Bunny, is already bored," Sohki said as he smiled cheerfully down at the energetic child.

Yachiru looked up at the sound of a voice, smiling broadly up at the stranger. He looked friendly enough, and Yachiru had never been taught to be scared of anything.
"She doesn't like not being able to see where we're going," the little girl explained brightly. The metal rabbit sitting in her lap seemed to confirm this by standing up on its back feet and rubbing its face with its paws, moving exactly like a live animal. "But she can't sit up on the handlebars of my scooter cuz I don't want her to fall."
Scooping the bunny into her arms, she stood up to face the stranger.
"Are you a 'Scorched,' too, Mister?" she asked, looking up at his face. Studying him for a second, she was able to come to the conclusion that he was probably blind just like Captain Tosen and that, just like with the captain, it didn't slow him down one bit. "What's your name? Mine is Yachiru Kusajishi!"
Proud as ever to tell her name, she patted the bunny's head and waited for his answer, as comfortable in this stranger's company as if she had known him for
She better watch out, Sohki likes to 'steal' cute things ;Dplayful_troubleAugust 22 2010, 10:02:08 UTC
The bright smile and greeting from the young child was rather refreshing. It had been some time since he'd last been around who was so lively. How refreshing! "So I see," He said while crouching down in front of the pink-haired one, "That's quite right. Perhaps you should make her a small seat with a belt to keep her in place while you ride?"
Tilting his head to one side as she energetically jumped up to talk to him, Sohki chuckled lightly. "My my, you're quite the inquisitive one, aren't you?" The kirin asked before smiling kindly to Yachiru.
"It's such a pleasure to meet you, Yachiru-chan~" remaining crouched down in front of Yachiru, Sohki opened his eyes, revealing the dull orbs beneath, as he peered at the cheerful child, "My name is Sohki, and yes, I am one of the Scorched. You are as well, by the look of you."
