Riza walked slowly along the road, watching the festival goers running around her, shouting to each other. Enjoying themselves. She smiled slightly. She wasn't happy to be stuck here, not with everything that was going on in Amestris - or, at least, in Amestris at the time when she was pulled out. She wasn't happy, and she wasn't resigned, but she could allow herself a moment of contentment as she wandered all alone through the crowds.
The taste of the muffin she had picked up from one of the tables earlier still hung in her mouth and, though she wasn't generally much for sweets, she found herself craving another. She made her leisurely way back to the edge of the festival area to pick up one that had raspberries in it.
