[ Jin doesn't usually do things like this and probably would have just left it alone, had Scar actually given him an answer, a wish, even if Jin could not have given it to him. Birthdays are important for humans, for any living thing. Birthdays let someone know that they were in another's heart, that they meant enough to be handed a day that they might have been born. It might not be right, but it is enough.
He walks up to the apartment Scar is supposedly living, bag in his hand with a late birthday gift Scar possibly doesn't want, but that's okay. He can give the lollipop to a child in need and who could not find a place for the adorable panda doll inside?
Maybe next time he'll be more inclined to tell Jin what he wants the next time he asks. ]
