[Sebastian had had limited professional contact with Remus Lupin throughout his time in Anatole. He seemed like a decent fellow and was knowledgeable in the topics in which Sebastian had asked him to tutor the last version of his master. That Ciel's disappearance had abruptly ended the tutelage and although a new one had appeared in his place not long after, pressing financial troubles had prevented its resumption for the duration of the summer.
Now that things were looking a bit better in the money department, it was only proper that Sebastian ensure Ciel's continued education. As grown up as he tries to act, Ciel is still a child and there are significant gaps in his scholarly knowledge. Academic pursuits as a whole will undoubtedly come in handy later in life... whether in Anatole or elsewhere.
That is Sebastian's main objective for coming to call on Lupin again. He pauses outside the clinic's front door, watching the building's facade as a chilly September wind tugs at the long fringe framing his face.
