[Well, this certainly isn't the conversation he was expecting to have with a potential renter. He frowns, because there are several things in Trickster's statements he doesn't agree with. Serving a higher demon would be the boring job. Humans are the entertaining creatures, which is why, yes, he'll even be a butler to one. Just the fact that it's unexpected is what makes the whole arrangement interesting.]
I don't intend to break it.
[He might as well make that clear, as well. Although he'd certainly been thinking about his own existence and purpose a month or so ago, when Ciel had disappeared. If his master hadn't returned, Sebastian might have had to decide what to do, despite being confined to the form and role the contract with the boy had given him.
But Ciel is back, and things, it seems, are returning to as they were in their own world. Well, aside from the usual obstacles Anatole tosses in their direction.
Sebastian walks down the second floor hallway and opens the nearest available door. The room has an arched ceiling, and a few bare necessities in terms of furniture, and a large window.]
The rooms on this floor are largely the same in size and shape. A few others have already been rented, but this one contains a view of the back garden and gets sun in the afternoon... when the sun is out, of course.
[He finds himself hoping Trickster will say no and leave.]

He could tell that he was already getting on Sebastian's nerves and being bound, there wasn't much he could do about it. Meeting the human he was bound to was sure to be interesting as well.]
It's ok. How about the rest of the place?
[He conjured a chocolate bar and took a bite out of it, turning to the demon. Trickster had no intentions of going easy on him. A neutered demon was still a demon, no matter the packaging. That was a lesson that was never forgotten. His brother was a sick son-of-a-bitch for creating them in the first place.]

What would you like to see first?
Reply
The rest of the house first, then the grounds. Who else lives here?
[Trickster could sense a few others on the premises, but didn't want to reveal any of his cards just yet.]
Reply
[He turns and leads Trickster back the way they came, down the stairs.]
There is my master, the Earl Ciel Phantomhive. We also have a maid with us from our own world. There are other interested parties for the rooms as well, of course.
Reply
That's all your staff for a place this big? How do you manage it?
[Not well by the state of things. Trickster was less interesting in getting an answer than he was in judging Sebastian's reaction to the questions.]
Reply
[Which is why Sebastian is humouring you now at all.]
Others interested have already volunteered to help with the upkeep of the property, so I suspect the entire undertaking will help a great deal.

[They had descended the stairs back into the entrance and with a thought and a snap of his fingers Trickster transformed the room to it's former glory. The ceiling was painted with fresco's and the whole place gleamed as if new. Light streamed through the spotless high windows and vases of flowers adorned every available surface and the dingy foyer was transformed into something out of an estate decorator's dream.]
That will do for a start. Now, on with the tour!

But it's not his happiness that matters.]
I would ask, of course, that you refrain from doing any major renovations without express permission from my master. The property is his, after all.
[And Ciel would take about as kindly to a meddling supernatural creature about as Sebastian would, he suspects.]

[Trickster wanted to meet the man both to see what kind of a person had bound the demon and because he got the impression he needed to pass this Ciel's judgement to be a tenant. Not that it really mattered in the long run, but he was getting a bit bored with his current accommodations - being none.]
Reply
[Sebastian did assure his master he would take care of the finding tenants, and wouldn't bother Ciel with it unless absolutely necessary. Still... having this bloke around is probably not something he can just slip by his master. And Sebastian's not even sure he wants to try.]
[[ooc: I asked Kai and she said she's cool with popping in this thread with Ciel, so I just wanted to let you know Trickster can probably meet Ciel now if he's insistent. Up to you, of course! :3]]

[ooc: That would be fantastic if she wants to jump in near the end of the tour - if he's in the last place they look at or whatever.]

As you wish. Come, this way.
[Sebastian steers Trickster away from the foyer - at one end of which is his master's suite - and first, to the common living room. It too looks a bit shabby, and there's not quite as much furniture as there probably should be for the large space, but there is an impressive fireplace at one end of the room.]
This is the sitting room, and all tenants would be welcome to use it. It connects to the library.
[Perhaps a curious statement to make, since there is no visible door but the one they entered through. A section of wall opens into a hidden door that leads to the library, an odd quirk of the house, certainly. But perhaps some might find it quaint.]
[[ooc: Sounds great! I'll let her know when Ciel can jump in, then. :3]]

[Trickster beelines right to the hidden door in the wall and opens it, such a simple trick was more than obvious to him.
He steps inside and frowns at the scant selection. Nothing on the Mist or Door as far as he could tell. So much for that.]
Reply
[He's been a touch busy between having two jobs, dealing with the usual Mist-induced shenanigans, and now getting this property ready to show. Sebastian ducks through the door after Trickster, noting the god's displeasure.]
Not what you are looking for?
Reply
[He picks up a random volume and flips through it.]
I still don't even know where this city came from. If it's an insular dimension and the mists are it's borders or if it used to be a part of some other world. The locals had to come from somewhere after all.
But anyway. You don't need to hear about my theories.
[He closes the book with a snap and returns it in place, turning back towards Sebastian]
