What: Kurogane and Fai stumble home after going to find Kaien.
Warnings: General unhappiness, blood-drinking, possible cursing.
This certainly isn't the nicest welcome to a world that Kurogane has ever had. He can't say it's the worst, either, he supposes... not with as many worlds as he's been to, at this point.
Still, half-carrying the stupid mage back to the apartment where he'd awakened earlier in the day, the daggertail sword still clutched in the blond's hand, isn't exactly his idea of a good time.
He grunts a little as he opens the door, wondering idly why his knees feel a little weak and his chest feels tight. Perhaps it's still a reaction to that strange mist, which had certainly turned his head around enough so far. He sighs, draws in a deep breath, and then simply tugs Fai through the room, trying to get his friend situated somewhere so that he could sit himself.
