Now and then it seems that life is just too much, but you've got the love I need to see me through. )
[ He hadn't constructed any fantasy about what sort of surprise laid in wait, so when he rested his eyes upon the campsite and the fruits of Zack's labour, he smiled. It was a true smile, one that dimpled his cheeks and reached upward toward his eyes beneath his helmet, but it was also tired. ]
[ He wasn't sure if the timing was...right. After all, he'd been through a lot recently. They all had, in fact, and it seemed like taking a break now was a little like giving up halfway up the mountain. You were neither up or down, just stuck someplace uncomfortable and in the middle. ]
[ What could he do, though? ]
[ His friend looked expectant, and Irene hadn't said much. Zack, being who he was, needed encouragement... ]
[ ...so he fisted his hips and forced his grin to grow a little wider, bared a little teeth, and let a sigh escape his parted lips. ]
"Outdid yourself, man. This is too much! Well, except for the tent. Did you run out of time or something?"

[But, hey, at least he could always count on Kunsel! Always ready, always there! Zack turned his puppy eyes to him waiting, waiting-
[And, hey! The tent? The tent was… okay, it was a little hasty. And lopsided. And-Oh, Shiva, Kunsel. You’re getting clean up duty for that. ]
You think you can do better with it? I’d like to see you try!
[And with that, the gauntlet has been thrown!]

Could you, Kunsel?
[She's moved forward and still smiling, takes a seat next to Zack - piercing the ground with her blade, driving it through with barely any effort. It stands upright, reflecting fire and ember.]
