What: Getting a feel for Anatole back.
Warnings: Excessive use of aliases (Shadow!David calls himself Jason Bourne, but will introduce himself as John Kane. And you probably know him as Jim. yeah).
Anatole hadn't changed much. That was expected. There was no real need for radical development here, or means to do so. Shops changed hands, some buildings were renovated, and that was about it. More important than the small changes in geography was the question of who was changing it.
Jason didn't recognize any of the faces his eyes flicked over as he passed by. That was suspicious, but Anatole had never been anything but suspicious. And inconvenient.
He gave a shopkeeper a small smile as he passed by, wondering what it was he did to get out of here last time and how he could do it again. Thinking that a detour here wouldn't compromise the mission simply because it hadn't last time, would be a mistake.
