[William answers the door, leaving the notebook he'd been writing in on the small table.

He stops. He stares. He adjusts his glasses with his scythe.

And as calmly as one can, he slams the door in the demon's face.

It was probably poisoned wine anyway.]

[Sebastian's prepared for this reaction. Just as the door is about to slam, he shoves his polished shoe between it and the frame. It stops short.

He curls one gloved hand around the crack in the door and pushes, sliding his face in as well. Still grinning.]

Come now, that's rather inhospitable of you. When I've gone to the trouble of bringing you a housewarming gift.

[William looks at him, entirely unamused, and his grip on his scythe tightens minutely.]

Were you too much of a coward to use your voice?

[He sighs, realizing that he's not going to be able force Sebastian out at the moment by ignoring him.]

...Fine.

[He's aware of the scythe, and won't enter too boldly... at least not until William consents.]

I suspected if you knew my identity you would not allow me to visit. It does seem I was correct.

[He slides in and shuts the door behind him. He studies the reaper for a moment. Oh, Spears. As uptight as ever.... At least it's not the other one.]

I'll have you know I wish to be here just as much as you wish to have me. But, as it stands, we are caught in the same predicament. I thought that perhaps uniting against a common enemy would be grounds for a... truce. Temporarily, of course...

[He holds up the wine bottle, showing off the Anatolian label and the fact that it is completely sealed.] And this is the olive branch, so to speak.

[All, biblical imagery. He couldn't resist the irony.]
