What: Kaien drops by to meet the kittens and help Sasori pick up the pieces

[Having friends, considering others as such.
It's still something Sasori feels so conflicted about, particularly after everything that's happened because of Deidara's disappearance. Torn between pushing others away and allowing them closer. Once again, he allowed his weakness to overcome common sense, and relented, inviting Kaien to visit.
And then there's the kittens, another injection of absurdity into his life that he didn't want or need but he's too foolishly sentimental to let go of. For now, they're dozing in the padded basket they'd been left on his doorstep in.
The apartment's still in shambles after his disastrous attempt to transform himself into a puppet, but at least he's cleaned up the most incriminating evidence of that failure: the blood's been wiped away, knife and tools cleaned and back at his workbench, his spare puppet and the empty heart container stored away in scrolls.
He pushes a stack of puppet blueprints on the table aside to make room for the sake cups and has a seat while he waits for Kaien. Really, he probably shouldn't be drinking either, considering he's still somewhat weak and exhausted after all of that. Sakura would likely scold him again, if she knew...]
