What: Souji and Oruha finally open the cafeteria they've been working hard on. Also, mingle time!
Warnings: P4 cast, maybe a few odd things in the food (which probably is the food), and so on.
Then again, no one ever asked what his goal in life was, so he was free to do as many as he wanted.'>
He's never done anything this big before. Well. Not as an extracurricular activity. But then again, people didn't know that most of the things he has done was basically that: extracurricular.
Then again, no one ever asked what his goal in life was, so he was free to do as many as he wanted. So a cafeteria, a stint as a waiter, a cook, a janitor, maybe a stint as a manager... even if a lot of people thought that (and wanted him to) he was going to a top-notch university, maybe get a successful job, the once-leader of an investigation team of misfits found that his happiness was in this. But he'll probably have to find someone else to pawn this venture off to, if it was successful.
Being a professional part-timer was fun all on its own, but his uncle might just have something to say about that. Repressing a smile, Souji lifted his eyes from the final checks on the tables, plates and the buffet-style display at the near back of the room. Most of the things here had been second-hand, some third-hand even, but all of them were still usable. Head lifted in pride, he moved to the back where his morning's worth of hard work were steaming, newly-cooked.
Lunch is being served, the cafeteria was open, and all he had to do was wait and see.
[OOC: There is no need to keep to one thread here. Feel free to butt into other peoples' threads, like you overheard someone, or you wanted to introduce yourself. Active posting (within the limits of your character and maybe time) anywhere is encouraged, but make it realistic (ie. characters that are in two places at the same time, having simultaneous conversation. Third, I'm aware that a lot of people are on slowatus because of the holidays and/or cannot say so, so this'll probably be a slow-going log.
EDIT! Kinda forgot to mention, but the cafe works on a trade basis. Trade anything for food. Ivories are highly encouraged, but material things are good too, such as defunct money from other worlds.]
