Who: Heine (stray_gunner) and Sakura (sucker_punches).
When: Backdated to 10/8.
Where: Sakura's other home The clinic.
Format: Paragraph.
What: Heine runs in to Sakura when she's under a lot of stress. Probably a bad combination.
Warnings: ... it's Heine and Sakura, need I say more?

Anatole had introduced new associations to Sakura. In Konoha she would liken the state she reached when a crisis hit the hospital--a mission gone wrong, a large battle, or an epidemic like this--to puppetry, her body held up and moving on threadbare strings of mustered effort and energy and controlled by sheer stubborn will. In Anatole, she thought of the dwarfs' inventions: creaking along without thought, just pre-programed action.

Either way, they were apt. Sakura always felt less than human when things got like that, perhaps out of necessity. Humans had weaknesses she couldn't afford when people were this sick.

She moved in this way--like a puppet or an automaton--as she did what she could (not much, not enough)for the splotchy patients in her care.
