[OPEN] Party Down!
Who: Anyone in the game!
When: Thursday Evening (September 30th)
Where: The Patrol headquarters
Format: Probably action, but whatever works for you.
What: A makeshift (but still pretty impressive) party to lift the spirits of the beleaguered Scorched. Features music, food and good times. It's considered NEUTRAL GROUND tonight, so try to keep the violence to a low roar unless you want Priscilla mobilizing her foot against your face. ¬_¬ Which would be okay with me, really.
Warnings: None so far! Alert me if any arise!
[Welcome the Patrol Headquarters - that often austere building, today unusually bright. Sparse and tasteful decorations line the walls, and temperature is comfortably warm but not hot, thanks to the atmosphere adjuster set to the side of the room. In the corner, a memory recorder stands as well, and though its screen is black, its speakers play many songs in a sequence. Maybe you'll know them - they're the memories of songs from the worlds beyond Anatole. Is there a song you love, one you remember? Let the machine hear your thoughts, and hear them played back to you tonight.]
[And oh, over there - in the area normally set aside for dining, there is a spread of food from many worlds, too - including this one. Perhaps you'll recognize something in the food, the drinks. There is an open bar there as well - drinks courtesy of Helen, of course.]
[There is plenty of room for moving, for mingling, even for dancing if you choose. And lining the walls - lounge chairs, sofas. The normal furnishings of the Grand Hall.]
[If you become curious, you'll find exits to the terrace in the back of the room - beyond that, a sizeable backyard of lush greenery and a slightly mossy pond. Oh dear, that needs to be tended to! Or stay inside to browse the library: sparse, for the moment, but nonetheless interesting.]
[The rest of the manor is closed to visitors - security, perhaps, or just the fear of too much cleaning.]
[...and in closing, speaking of cleaning, was that a ghost in a maid's uniform you just saw moving through the crowd? Was that a windup doll serving drinks?]
