Helen! Don't... get all upset!

The words roll over her like an inferno, burning away all that is logical and pure and good inside of her. Fortunately Helen doesn't have a whole lot of those last two to mourn. And while this could be considered an unwise move by certain people (Deneve), Helen feels justified in her anger, this borderline rage.

Talking to Isley was the one thing, the last thing that Priscilla needed to do, especially right now. Helen had told her, and she'd thought that Priscilla understood. She'd believed that Priscilla would do anything to keep from Awakening. This latest brush had scared her, but Helen could understand it a little better. After all, she and that Senji punk meant a lot to each other. The former twenty-two had been long enough to see that for herself.

But then going to see Isley, who she didn't actually know? And for what?

"She'd better not be taking him any fucking clothes!"

Helen doesn't even see the face of the person she pushes out of her way as she emerges from the shelter of Dismas. She doesn't pause for the fight, or even glance over to see if Deneve was by her side. (She knew she was.) The only thing Helen could think of was wrapping her hands around Priscilla's neck and squeezing 'til she squeaks like a dog's chew toy.

She doesn't even pause once she reaches Priscilla's door. She just hauls off and kicks it, sending it flying across the room.

Wonder of wonders, no Priscilla.

"I'll wait."

Helen grabs a chair and places it squarely in front of the open doorway before planting herself firmly in it. This way her disapproving face will be the first thing that Pris sees...

helen, priscilla, deneve
