[Chrome's back again, looking a little awkward as she stares at the basket on her table. It seems to be filled mostly with chocolates and snacks, but spread out along the table is some real food too-- mostly fruit and instant noodle type things, but still.

Chrome is bewildered] A real bed, a real bath, and now food...? Real food...?

It's nice, isn't it.

[Because a bed, a bath, food. He's been without all of those things at one point or another. It's nice to see someone appreciating it.]

I suppose it's something most people would take for granted...

A lot would, yeah. I never actually had a bed in Ealdor. And you ate what you grew but sometimes not much grew at all.

So I can appreciate things like this too.

The village where I grew up. It was just farmland, really.

Japan, in a city.

I've heard it mentioned here. Is it a nice place to live?

[Merlin's reward is a tiny smile] Yes. The countryside is very beautiful, and the people can be nice...

[She's not sure what else to say about it] Students wear uniforms to school, and we have a lot of interesting festivals.

A lot of strange things happen though... But i suppose that's the same thing everywhere/
