[A thrashing turns on the Forge. The camera jolts to the side and stays there, recording at an odd angle. The room is in one of the non-distinct newcomer apartment units, and on the bed is a young man, struggling to sit up

I bee-leeve it is closer to a level three, ack, actually.
[Ax is excited to be speaking to someone who has studied this theory.]
Though it is poss, possible it is something-ing else entirely. People come here from places, play-sez, that follow different rules from my own world, but Anatole, toll-ay, seem-zuh more like a place where we are collected than a place that inherently break-suh the rules. Other than obvious, vee-uss, ones it has broken by bring-ing us here.
This is all a thee, theory, though. I am quite sure it is not the afterlife. But I know peep, people who... might have ree-son to think it is.
[There's an audible sigh before Ax switches over.]
I have not seen any evidence that different branches of reality are represented here. In fact, it seems to me that preservation of timelines is one constant across all the worlds people come from.
I have heard that people who return to their homes do not remember Anatole, unless they come back to it. This is consistent with my own experience in an alternate timeline, which I do not remember at all, though I have been told I was there, and behaved as the person who does remember expected me to.
I learned in school that time travel is inherently unstable, and that the anomalous timeline will collapse. This should have occurred by now, but has not, so I think Anatole must be an example of something similar, but not exactly the same.
An interesting hypothesis, although if you are from a dimension where time travel is possible, the physical constants of your universe might be different from this one, and the others that have converged with it. So there is no way to say for sure whether it's true.
From my point-of-view, yes. Earth is the only planet that has been confirmed to have life. Although, our universe is vast enough that thinking we are the only habitable world is statistically both arrogant and foolish.

There are many places to get delicious food-zuh.

But I am glad to hear about the food.

You have encountered other worlds before?

An interesting variable to add to the mix. Do you have proof of this timeline preservation?
Only theoretically. To my knowledge, it is nothing that has ever truly existed outside of fairytales.

Although it is good to keep in mind.

I have only spoken with a few people who are familiar with these things at all, even if it is on a purely theoretical level.

Your world must be interesting.
