I assumed on arriving here that this was yet another new world, yet it is quite unlike any dimension I have ever been in so far. But you are from a world where the existense of other worlds is merely a theory so far and not an established fact, is that correct?

Oh yes, quite possible. That is, if you are powerful enough, or if you are willing to make a bargain with someone who is. In fact, before I was - supposedly - trapped here, I was a traveler between dimensions myself. This is the first time I've encountered a world that practices body-snatching.

There's a silence. He's still trying to get used to the existence of shinigami and killing someone by writing their name in a supernatural notebook. And this situation, being brought here, is stretching the limits of his belief system by being any of the options he outlined, really. And even though "magic," technically, could have a place in his scientific hypothesis of separate universes that operate on separate laws, just throwing around the word like it ain't no thing, Fai, it's just...

Ahaha, yes. Whatever information there is out there is highly useful, but woefully disorganised, and it still doesn't answer the most important questions. From what I've come to understand, people seem to believe that this dimension in some way is separated from the continuum of all other worlds. And while I'm used to the flow of time being radically different between dimensions, this seems to be something else. [Smiles his most vapid smile.] Aaah, I'm really just guessing, don't mind me.
