[ It is more than apparent, from the moment the broadcast begins, that the presently streaming video feed is far from intentional. The camera's lens peers skyward, providing ample view of the waning night and the morning lurking just around the corner; the dawn brandishing as a slender knife that cuts brightly across the softening darkness and swirling Mists of the Ruins. In the distance, there are the telltale sounds of combat, the clamor drawing closer, and closer still, until finally the keening, dying cry of some poor feral beast is upon the Forge.
Silence. Static. And a moment later, the blade of a sword flashes within view, slick with blood.
A murmur - ]
No traces, still. Not anywhere.

[ The Forge has been found. And when Ukitake reaches to reclaim it from its resting place, the fall of his hair forms a curtain around his face, such that nothing but the stark panel of white and a pair of brown eyes can be clearly seen.
