If you know who I am, and you know about my fiancé - including the exact week that he died - then I'd deduce you are somehow connected to the Task Force assigned to investigate Kira.

Or, at the very least, somehow connected to L.

...So. He got to L, too. I wish I'd been able to tell him what I know, beforehand. It might have saved his life.

Thank you for your advice. I will make certain I'm careful, although I don't know how much good it will do. Kira only needs a name and a face, to kill...and he's already killed me once. I'm sure he would recognize me if he were to see me again.

Are you - L's successor?
