[The soft strains of a music box tune plays in the background, perhaps familiar to certain ears. Jack sits by a window of what looks to be a workshop of sorts, judging from the various gears and tools scattered across the workspace. His elbow rests on the table, chin cupped in his hand, and he seems lost in thought as he stares out.
Eventually someone speaks up from somewhere off-screen, pulling the blond from his thoughts. He blinks and glances back, smiling apologetically as he claps his hand over a pocket watch, clicking it shut and simultaneously ending the tune.]
Ah, sorry, sorry- guess I was daydreaming.
[He turns back to look at the components before him to try picking up where he'd left off. Although the smile doesn't fade, he does give a soft, wistful sigh, casting a sidelong glance at his pocket watch again before getting back to his work.]
