Close-cropped blue hair and a matching hat frame an androgynous face, and at first it is difficult to guess the gender of the person gazing keenly at the Forge. The voice, however, is female enough, although on the deep side.]
Hello. If I understand correctly, this communicator is called a Forge. I have taken the time to study it, but I thought it best not to post here until I've gotten my bearings.
[She's been watching the network for a day or two. A lot of confusion, especially over things that might not be real. She thought it best not to leap into the middle of that. Besides, it gave her time to put aside fear and work some things out for herself.]
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Naoto Shirogane. In my world - as I've been told, we can come from any number of them - I am from a country called Japan. It is the year 2012, and it is quite different from Anatole. But I'll adapt, as I'm sure everyone here does.
Onto some business. I'm missing a number of personal items. I can't be sure how many travelled with me through the Door, but I know they were on my person before I awoke here. I'm not familiar with the city well enough to know whether I should hope for a charitable person to return them to me, or look for a Lost and Found center, or accept that they are likely gone for good.
[Which sucks. There's something in particular she thinks might come in handy here, but without it she can't test the theory. ...And Aside from that, she liked her clothes. But at least she's still got the hat.]
Unfortunately, I have had to barter for a few essentials.
[This is perhaps evidenced by her coat, which looks quite a bit more Anatolian than the rest of her. It's also a touch big, and she's not too fond of the way it puffs out at the bottom. But it will have to do for now.]
Employment is a logical solution to this problem, and so I'd like to obtain some as quickly as I can. In my world, I have been a consulting detective for the last several years, working closely with the police to catch a wide variety of criminals. I also have some combat expertise. I'm not sure if I would be... [And her voice lowers a bit, as if to give her words more authority.] Wanted in either of these fields without references to prove my capability. But nevertheless, it's on the table.
Alternately, I am looking for a select group of people. If you have met a boy, approximately seventeen years of age, with grey hair and grey eyes, please let him know I'm looking for him. The others... Hmm. Perhaps it would just be easier to list their names.
