The city itself is not responsible for the 'yanking', I'm afraid. In the northeast, there stands an archway which many have come to call the Door, and it is the mechanism responsible for our transport here. Though, we have yet to ascertain why, precisely, individuals are drawn through the Door only to be left here, in Anatole.
