[William's room is extremely minimalist, plain bedsheets, plain curtains, plain walls. However, that is not what the Forge is trained on. Instead, it is looking at William, who is currently lying on the floor, head turned to the side to stare at the device with strangely unfocused eyes. When he speaks, it is with even more of a monotone than usual.]
I...I wanted to take this moment to talk about a current issue that recently appeared in Anatole. It is Anatole, correct? Right...
Control, control is what should be required in a society. Because without control, everyone is uncontrolled. They go crazy. They break the law, and that just isn't acceptable. With control, that doesn't happen, and people are better off as a whole.
This whole desire wave was meant to send everyone crazy, but no...we didn't all fall to it. We...didn't, I think. So in that case it means we still have control, and if we work harder, then it won't happen again. Or at least for a long time...because if things happen two, three times then it'll happen again...
The point, though, the point is that we need control in our lives more than we need desire because otherwise there isn't a balance, and if it's not balanced then you drop everything and you have to clean up a ridiculous mess.
[He turns to look at the ceiling then, satisfied with what he's said.]
[[ooc: And William here has been a victim of Elfangor's
cooking, which has sent him quite out of his mind.]]
